At this years’ Basel, Omega presented the new Planet Ocean Chronograph watches which stole the thunder of many watches exhibited there. What grabbed eyes of watch lovers was that the new PO chronos came with an in-house movement, which posed an official farewell to Calibre 3313.

To accommodate the gorgeous movement, the cases becomes a bit thicker than the previous models, the diameter were still 45.5mm though. And to fully demonstrate the charm of the movement, the case rear is fitted with sapphire crystal. The water resistance remains at 600mm. The bezels are made of aluminium and have pretty nice matte finish. They are equipped with classic stainless steel bracelets which I like very much and thick rubber strap that has new designed details.

The dial has nice balance and thus became a beauty for eyes. It features large chrono hand in orgage color and two subsidiary dials. The bolder hands are applied with more lume as well. The As for the crown and he valve, we can find a similar feeling as they basically borrow the design of the AT crown. And that is quite great for the watch, I think.

Overall, these watches were impressively nice looking. It may a bit large for some dudes, but it is good for Omega.
